From UK to Croatia: Remulak & Hairy’s “You Have Potential”

From the UK to Croatia, Village Live label heads Remulak and Hairy link up once again on their new collaborative single You Have Potential. A reflective and optimistic cut, the track explores the idea that potential is not always something to be reached, but something to be realised.

Built on jazzy drum patterns, psychedelic Moog textures and a spiritual vocal chant, the track carries a smoky, mysterious atmosphere while keeping the mood open and forward-looking. It’s a sound that feels patient, confident, and quietly uplifting.

As with all of their collaborations, the creative process flows effortlessly between the two. Remulak lays the foundations, often building layers of riffs, melodies and samples within a looping 16-bar framework, before handing the track over to Hairy, who adds his unique vibe, introducing new sounds, samples and instruments, expanding the arrangement and shaping the track into a complete, polished piece.

You Have Potential will feature on a forthcoming collaborative LP, due for release on Village Live Records later this year, so keep your ears to the ground for more to come.
