Manimal Vector Unleashes “Ninja Stuff” + Limited Cassette Pre-Order
Something a little different has landed on Village Live Records…
The debut single “Ninja Stuff” by Manimal Vector is officially out now on all streaming platforms, with limited cassette pre-orders for the forthcoming album also now live via the Village Live website.
Inspired by the gloriously over-the-top world of classic 80s ninja films like American Ninja, “Ninja Stuff” is packed full of analog-style synths, pulsing basslines and pure VHS-era action energy. It’s tongue in cheek throughout, capturing the spirit of a decade where ninjas apparently communicated exclusively through flying kicks, smoke bombs and unnecessary backflips.
While the title track leans fully into neon ninja movie madness, the forthcoming album expands further into synth-heavy instrumentals and late-night 80s inspired soundscapes. Think vintage action cinema, arcade machines, grainy CRT televisions and forbidden martial arts tapes discovered at the back of a dusty video store.
Fans of Rogue VHS, Le Matos, Francois Smith and L’Avenue should feel right at home here.
The cassette edition is available in strictly limited numbers, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
The single is available to stream now on your preferred platform.
