Drosan Return with Hypnotic New Single ‘Hazy’

Following the success of their self-titled debut album, New Zealand group Drosan return to Village Live with “Hazy” — an immersive seven-minute journey through jazz fusion, psychedelic house and live electronica.

Built around driving four-to-the-floor drums and a deep, hypnotic bassline, “Hazy” gradually unfolds into a rich combination of live musicianship and underground electronic energy. Rather than rushing towards a conventional peak, the track takes its time, allowing its shifting textures, rhythmic details and psychedelic atmosphere to pull the listener deeper into Drosan’s world.

The result blurs the boundaries between contemporary jazz and late-night dance music. It is equally suited to focused headphone listening or being played loud through a sound system in a packed festival tent.
