Village Live Records presents Forest Breaks, a unique breakbeat collection from Move 78, featuring 14 one-shot drum loops and 3 full-length drum performances by Berlin-based drummer Nir Sabag.
All recordings were captured outdoors in September 2020 at four different locations in the forests near Gérardmer, France. Using varied mic configurations and ambient recording techniques, the sessions were designed to reflect the natural acoustics of the forest environment — giving each break a raw, organic feel that’s impossible to recreate in a studio.
