With a deeply experimental yet soulful approach, Malik Diao and Fred Red push beyond traditional sampling, instead sculpting intricate soundscapes using live instrumentation. Malik's mastery of saxophones, flutes, basses, pianos, and string instruments fuses seamlessly with Fred Red’s organic drum and percussion work, resulting in a dynamic interplay of rhythm and melody.
