Village Live Records proudly presents Time & Tide, the new album from Mancunian poet and emcee D’Lyfa Reilly.
Produced entirely by Village Live artist Aver, this 12-track project stands as the final release overseen by the label’s co-founder Joey Deez, who sadly passed away in 2020. The album carries his creative legacy, marking an important moment in Village Live history.
D’Lyfa first burst onto the UK hip hop scene in 2011 at just 19, gaining national attention through a run of mixtapes, music videos and standout appearances on BBC Introducing and Charlie Sloth’s 1Xtra show. During this time, he connected with fellow Mancunian producer Aver, forming a shared vision for a raw, uncompromising approach to hip hop.
Time & Tide brings together reworked material from their early collaborations with fresh tracks recorded in 2019, resulting in a cohesive, soulful and lyrically sharp body of work.
Available on limited edition 12" vinyl in two colourways: standard black, and an aquatic-themed transparent blue with white swirl.
